On March 21, 2025, the Jamini Roy Gallery at ICCR, Park Street, Kolkata, came alive with color and creativity as it hosted the inauguration of the ‘Creative Leaves X’ Group Art Exhibition, presented by ‘Creative Art Affairs.’ This four-day event, running until March 24, showcases the remarkable talents of selected PAN-India artists, offering them a platform to display their innovative creations.
The evening commenced with a captivating welcome dance performed by the eminent Odissi dancer Mitali Pramanik, setting a vibrant tone for the festivities. The event welcomed an array of distinguished guests, including beauty queens Nazia , Miss India 1st Runner up and Amalia , Miss Teen India Winner, adding a touch of glamour to the proceedings.
A total of 18 talented artists, including Itirekha Chanda, Aritri Chakraborty, Proshomaa Anindya Kakoli, Sharmistha Banerjee, Baisakhi Gupta, Sandhya Salunke, Chitra Mukim, Eldora Betsy Lyngdoh, Pinaki Ranjan Mitra, Deepak Biswal, Meenakshi Chhajer, Tanisha Sharma, Sheela Sancheti, Adarsha Biswas, Uday Maharana, Mugha Khandelwal, Mandira Mondal, Amb. Sanjukta Kar, and Amb. Dr. (HC) Sonjaye Maurya, proudly exhibited their masterpieces. Each artwork offered a unique perspective, inviting viewers to delve into the diverse interpretations of artistic expression.
The inauguration was graced by a host of eminent personalities from Kolkata’s creative community, including renowned lecturer and bilingual poet Gopa Bhattacharjee and esteemed painters Subrata Das and Malay Das, who officially opened the exhibition. Also present were distinguished guests such Dr. Asok Ray, a gynecologist, singer, and painter; Mitali Pramanik; Purbasha Mondal, an award-winning poet.
