A remarkable painting art exhibition, hosted by the Bengal Art Factory, unfolded at Gallery Gold from March 25 to 27, marking a vibrant celebration of creativity in its 202nd episode. The event was a tremendous success, receiving enthusiastic acclaim from visitors who were captivated by the diverse artistic expressions presented.
Gallery Gold, owned by the distinguished Sen family—prominent figures behind the renowned jewellery brand Senco Gold and Diamonds—provided an inspiring venue for this artistic showcase. The exhibition aimed not only to highlight talented artists but also to uplift underprivileged artists, showcasing their extraordinary skills.
The exhibition was inaugurated on March 25 by a lineup of esteemed guests, including Shri Gautam De, the former Regional Director of ICCR and Mohammad Abdul Hye, an eminent author , from Bangladesh. The ceremony commenced with a traditional Pradip Prajwalan, leading into a soulful rendition of “Aguner Parashmoni,” performed by Shri Goutam De and the featured artists, setting a warm and celebratory tone for the event.
Among the artists featured was Moubani Sorcar, daughter of magician P. C. Sorcar Jr. She made her acting debut opposite Prosenjit Chatterjee in Anup Sengupta’s Bengali film Badla (2009)., whose works resonated deeply with attendees.
Other notable artists included Dalim Sen, Partha De, Ishita Choudhury, Sutapa Dutta, Milan Mondal, Susanta Mondal, Sangeeta Agarwal, Kaushik Shaw, Sohini Banerjee, Jayanta Samjpati, Lalit Mohan Singh from Dehradun, and Debapriya De, among others. Their diverse styles and creative expressions contributed to an enriching experience for all.

On March 26, a workshop was held, offering an interactive platform for aspiring artists and art lovers to engage directly with the creative process, further enhancing the exhibition’s impact.
As the three-day event came to a close on March 27, it left a lasting impression on attendees, reaffirming the mission of Bengal Art Factory to nurture and promote artistic talent in the region.
